Locatus Explorer ® GOAD Plan
(shopping area mapped)
A GOAD Plan is a digital retail map compiled from Locatus data. It enables you to analyse a shopping area quickly and easily and to optimise the rental potential and retail sector mix. A GOAD Plan literally maps a shopping area. It’s an effective tool when developing shopping areas, and also when letting/renting, selling/buying and valuing. It works better than any sort of ‘list’.
Which is the best GOAD Plan for you?
The GOAD Plan that best suits you will depend on what you want to know. For example, you might want to know the ‘position’ of the various shops in relation to one another? Or you might want to monitor your properties and analyse your portfolio in more detail. Our GOAD Plans are modular, so you can to opt for a ‘basic’ version or one with additional options such as ABC segmentation and footfal.
GOAD Plan - basic version
The basic version of the GOAD Plan enables you to examine a shopping area on your screen. You can see the location of the various retail outlets. And the name of the user and/or retail for each individual property. You can use the map (or part of it) in brochures, reports and PowerPoint presentations.

GOAD Plan - additional data
If you opt for the GOAD Plan with additional data, as well as examining a shopping area on your screen, you can analyse it.
Where are the crowd-pullers? What are the footfall flows? What is the retail sector mix and what is the ABC segmentation?

You can also add your own variables and colour the map with the different variables. So you can monitor a shopping area in order to advice clients, make purchase decisions or draft policy.
